In the first days of december I was out for lunch with a friend in a greek restaurant.
Blue sky, sun shining, 15 degrees. Unfortunately, we were not allowed to sit outside.
Inside: “Last christmas, I gave you my heart” in heavy rotation, for one and a half hour…
Most astonishing: all the guests seemed to feel fine with that…

I love that song really, but not only and not for such a long time…
Christmas time gave us a lot of good songs, but in a Greek restaurant I prefer the authentic sirtaki or something else from the greek top 100…
So my great respect for you @UlBre for this one and a half hour…
And, when there’s sunny weather and 15° outside, it must be possible to sit & eat outside, also in December…
I hate all these popular Christmas songs…
OK, I have a problem with Christmas, anyway… firstly, nationwide collective shopping chaos, and secondly, family chaos.
I do love designing, writing and sending greeting cards though. That’s the best, Advent.
But everything after Dec 23 at least in my family the situation is just too complicated to like Christmas.
And since I don’t get to writing my cards the way I like to, I stopped writing cards and consequently nothing left for me to like Christmas…
Too bad really. That’s the price I pay for too many too neurodivergent family members…
I am an optimist… I’ll wait for better times.
